ROOFRUN · WEBSITE & EARLY ACCESS

Privacy Policy

Updated 25 October 2026

This notice covers RoofRun’s website, demonstration and early-access enquiries. A business pilot may involve additional data-handling arrangements agreed with that business. Contact RoofRun at hello@roofrun.com.au with questions before providing information.

Information you provide

If you email us, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, discuss a pilot and provide support. The website’s email links open your own email application; they do not subscribe you to a mailing list.

When you use a business workspace, records can include names, contact details, property addresses, photos, measurements, reports, quotes, messages and deliberate diary entries. The business decides what it enters and shares. Submit only information you are authorised to provide.

Practice mode and browser storage

Practice mode stores its working records on your device, separately from live business jobs. Use fictional details. It does not demonstrate that a customer email or staff notification was delivered. Browser storage is also used for preferences such as theme and wallpaper, and cookies support preferences and signed-in sessions. Clearing browser data can remove Practice records and saved preferences.

Who can access information

Business workspaces use sign-in, membership and job-specific permissions. Crew and customer views expose a narrower set of information than the office workspace. A private link can be used by someone who receives or is forwarded that link; downloaded documents and previously viewed information cannot be recalled by revoking it.

Infrastructure administrators and service providers may process information to host, secure and support the service. RoofRun uses Sites hosting with Cloudflare storage and computing, and Supabase for staff identity. Businesses may separately configure email, mapping or other integrations. Those providers have their own privacy terms, and processing may occur outside Australia. Contact us to confirm the provider and location requirements for a proposed business pilot; this notice does not promise Australian-only storage.

Photos and deliberate site records

A date-only photo label does not remove metadata from the original file. Original uploads can contain camera timestamps or location metadata. Review files before uploading or sharing them. Job weather and visit entries are deliberate diary records; they are not verified attendance or a measure of personal heat exposure.

Security and retention

Access controls and validation help protect stored records, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Hosted services process technical request information to operate and protect the website. Error reporting is designed to limit message content; it is not an invitation to include confidential material in an error report.

Retention depends on the record, business configuration and operational requirements. Deleting a visible record may not immediately remove backups, previously issued documents or copies held by recipients. Ask us about retention and export arrangements before starting a business pilot.

Access, correction and privacy concerns

Email hello@roofrun.com.au to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. Describe the record and business involved without emailing passwords or private access tokens. We may need to verify your identity and authority and coordinate with the business responsible for the record.

If a concern remains unresolved, information about Australian privacy complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
